Contact section manages all your contacts as well as the labels that attach to them for customer relationship management purpose.

In "Your Contacts" tab, you can view the contacts dashboard. Contacts here refer to any users that have ever interacted with your Instagram account by Direct Message, commenting on post, or posting a Story that tagged your account. Follow Step 1 to refresh your contacts when you want to view the latest contact list. Input instagram user handle in the search field to search for a specific instagram user with Step 2. If you want to filter all the users with certain labels, select the label in the dropdown with Step 3. If you want to tag a label to a specific user, follow step 4 to select the user's checkbox. Then, you will see a label button appearing at the top right hand corner. Click on it, select a label group and input the label to tag on that user. If it is an existing label, the user will be tagged with the label. If the label doesn't exist in the label group, it will be generated and tagged to the user. If you want to view the contact profile of a user, click the button as in Step 5.

A contact profile consists of two sections. At the left, you can see the user icon, user handle, username, as well as the labels tagged on the user. At the right, you can see the contact activity like direct messages, post comments, quick reply clicks. Instagram users update their icon, user handle and username from time to time. Follow Step 1 to refresh a contact to the most updated one.

In "Label Management" tab, you can manage all the label groups and their labels. The use of labels is to classify user by their interaction behaviour with your account. When the users are tagged properly, you can better understand them and map out different strategy to users with different tags.

At the top left hand corner, by clicking the plus button, you can create a new label group by naming the group and selecting the color as Step 1. If you want to add a label to an existing label group, click the label button at the top right hand of a label group to add a label as Step 2. To explore the tagged contacts of a group of labels, click the button as Step 3 to view Label Group Detail.

In the Label Group Detail page, you can see all the labels and their tagged contacts on the left. To manage the actual contacts of a label, click a label on the left as Step 1, the label details will appear on the right. To delete a contact, select the checkbox as Step 2 and click the rubbish bin button as Step 3. To add a user to the tag, click the add button as Step 4 to select the users.
